How to make a pita roll with red fish, cheese and eggs - a recipe. Lavash roll with red fish is a great solution for a festive table

27.07.2019 Fish dishes

Lavash rolls are very popular both for holidays and as a quick snack. This simple appetizer can be gourmet in an instant if you add red fish to its base. It is not only very tasty and healthy, but also has a beautiful red color.

General cooking principles

Only thin pita bread is used to prepare the roll. Moreover, it must be dense enough so as not to get wet from the filling, in particular from different types of cheeses. Lavash can be greased not only with cheese, but also with mayonnaise and other sauces.

There is no need to prepare the fish, as it is often bought ready-made. This saves a lot of time. But nobody canceled the test for bones. It will be wonderful if the roll has a little time to brew in the cold. This is not only good for lavash, which is soaked, but also allows you to better keep the shape of the dish.

"Vkusnyashka" with salmon in a hurry

In a quarter of an hour, you can make a fresh roll, which is so reminiscent of summer with its crunch. It's all about amazing lettuce.

How much time is 15 minutes.

What is the calorie content - 153 calories.

How to cook:

  1. Rinse the leaves and then remove moisture. You do not need to cut, but you can cut off the hard parts at the bottom, if any.
  2. It is necessary to evenly grease a thin sheet of pita bread with curd cheese.
  3. Top with lettuce leaves. You can stack them on top of each other, but they shouldn't stick out around the edges.
  4. Cut the fish into thin slices and place on top of the leaves.
  5. Roll the pita bread into a tight roll, then cut it into pieces and serve.

Advice: if time permits, it is better to keep the roll for at least half an hour in the refrigerator. But you don't need to keep it longer, otherwise the lettuce will lose its appetizing appearance and become lethargic.

The roll is served only chilled. Do not heat food. Therefore, it is best to serve the dish directly from the refrigerator. You only need to cut the roll with a sharp knife: a dull knife can squeeze the pita bread, and it will turn into a shapeless mass, and the filling will burst.

You can safely select other ingredients for recipes. It is important that they are not too wet, so as not to soak the lavash itself.

This quick and easy snack quickly nourishes the body, so you can take it with you on the road or to work. The roll can be prepared in the evening, in order to wrap it with you in the morning, and in the morning, so that by the arrival of guests all the ingredients are completely saturated with each other. Bon Appetit!

Lavash rolls with red fish, herbs, eggs and cheese are one of the favorite dishes in our family, very simple to prepare and very, very tasty.

  • 250-300 g of lightly salted red fish - trout or salmon
  • 2 thin large rectangular Armenian lavash
  • 4 boiled eggs
  • 100 g spicy cheese
  • 150 g fetax or processed cheese
  • a small piece of butter (20 g)
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 200 g mayonnaise
  • a small bunch of onions, dill, parsley
  • lettuce leaves for serving

Preparation:

We cut each pita bread in half, so we get 4 sheets. If you like the appetizer, you can make a roll 2 times larger, from four whole pita bread, it is perfectly stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, cut into 2-3 parts and packed in plastic wrap. Well, after 3 days he will certainly not be left. 🙂

Cut the red fish into small thin slices across the fibers.

Chop the dill

parsley

green onions.

Chives should be slightly crushed.

Then add a small piece of butter to the onion and put it in a microwave oven or on a stove over a small fire for 15-20 seconds so that the butter melts. Add a little salt and mix.

Press the garlic through a press or three on a fine grater, then mix with mayonnaise. We will grease the sheets of pita bread with this sauce. I advise you to cook mayonnaise for pita rolls yourself, it is very quick and incomparably tasty. For a detailed recipe with step by step photos, see.

Cook eggs hard-boiled, peel and three on a coarse grater.

The filling is ready, now we will make rolls.

Grease the first sheet of pita bread with mayonnaise mixture, distribute green onions and eggs on top.

From the near edge, we begin to roll the pita bread into a tube, twisting the edge as tightly as possible.

Set aside the rolled pita bread.

We also grease the second sheet with mayonnaise, on top - parsley and cheese. We do not put all the parsley, we leave a little on the last layer. We put our tube on the edge of the second sheet and wrap the second layer as tight as possible.

Grease the third sheet with mayonnaise, sprinkle with dill and lay out the pieces of red fish. Again we put the roll on the edge and fold tightly. We also leave a little dill on the last layer.

And, finally, grease the fourth sheet with mayonnaise, sprinkle with the remaining greens and rub fetaxa or processed cheese on top. Fetax is more convenient to rub, because it does not stick together, and it is tastier than cheese curds. We put the roll on the edge and roll it up.

Here we have such a plump pita roll. Now we carefully cut off the uneven edges, divide the roll in half, wrap the parts in a film or bag and put them in the refrigerator at least for a while so that the roll is soaked.

We will serve the appetizer on lettuce leaves. It is very tasty to eat a roll wrapped in a salad leaf.

Lavash rolls can be made not only with red fish, but also with canned fish, chicken, crab sticks, ham, etc. You can grease lavash with curd cheese with different fillings, and alternate layers as you like. You can fold sheets of pita bread with fillings on top of each other and only then roll them up. In general, go for it! It will be tasty in any case.

Lavash rolls are very simple and tasty snacks for the festive table. They can be served both for Birthday and New Years, and for almost any family holiday when you want variety on a rich table. This simple, tasty dish gained its popularity not so long ago, and now it takes pride of place among traditional appetizers. And it's no secret that you can make lavash rolls with a huge variety of fillings.

We will tell you a few recipes for the most delicious rolls, and you will surely find the ones that suit your taste. These snacks are sure to please your guests and delight loved ones.

The main component of this appetizer is Armenian thin lavash. It is sold in stores in the bakery department and is almost always readily available. If desired, it is not difficult to bake it yourself. But, if there is no time for this, then a good fresh pita bread from the store is perfect.

Lavash rolls with red fish (salmon) and cream cheese

To prepare such a roll, we need:

  • Armenian thin lavash,
  • slightly salted red fish (salmon, trout, chum salmon) - 200 grams,
  • soft cream cheese (not processed, look for soft cheeses in jars like Almetta, Cremetta, Violetta, Philadelphia, Mascarpone) - 180-200 grams,
  • lemon juice - 1-2 teaspoons, drizzle over fish.
  • greens to taste

To make pita rolls with salmon and cream cheese, cut lightly salted salmon into thin slices. The thinner the pieces are, the easier it will be to wrap the roll and the neater it will look.

Spread the cream cheese over the pita bread in a thin, even layer. Then, spread the fish slices, but not closely, but at small intervals. It is good to alternate the taste of cheese and fish in layers if you put them in a checkerboard pattern.

Sprinkle lightly with lemon juice on the salmon to accentuate the flavor. A cooking spray is a great way to apply the lemon juice in a thin, even layer.

After that, you can sprinkle the pita bread with cheese and fish with a thin layer of finely chopped greens. Dill or green onions are great. But I do not recommend putting too much greens, as they can overwhelm the delicate flavors of fish and cheese. It is better to decorate the rolls with herbs on top, when serving.

Roll the pita bread into a very dense sausage, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least half an hour. During this time, the lavash will soak and become softer.

Take the roll out of the refrigerator right before serving it on the festive table. After you have unrolled it, cut into slices 2-3 centimeters thick exactly across if you want smaller portions, or diagonally, which will make the pieces longer and larger.

Arrange nicely on a plate and garnish with herbs or cherry tomatoes.

Lavash rolls with crab sticks and melted cheese

For such a delicious roll you will need:

  • Armenian lavash - 1 piece,
  • crab sticks - packaging,
  • processed cheese - 150 grams,
  • mayonnaise - 2-3 tablespoons,
  • greens to taste

For this, the roll will be useful to prepare the filling in advance, namely, mix it in the form of a salad, this will allow the ingredients to stick better with the sauce and prevent the roll from falling apart later.

Take crab sticks and grate them on a coarse grater. You can also cut it into small strips with a knife. Avoid large, thick pieces, they will make the roll bumpy and ugly, and it will be more difficult to wrap it.

If you are using hard processed cheese in briquettes, then grate it. If soft, mix it with crab sticks, but reduce the amount of mayonnaise.

Chop the herbs finely. Combine crab sticks, cheese, herbs and mayonnaise in a separate bowl until smooth.

Spread the pita bread on a clean, dry surface. Spread the resulting filling on it with an even layer. Roll the roll tightly, being careful not to leave air bubbles. Wrap the finished roll in plastic wrap and soak in the refrigerator. This should take at least half an hour, then the pita will not be too dry and the appetizer will turn out to be tender.

Before serving, remove the pita bread from the film and cut it into slices 2-3 centimeters thick. Arrange nicely on a platter and garnish as desired. Rolls with crab sticks and cream cheese are ready! Bon Appetit!

Lavash rolls with ham and cheese

To make pita rolls with ham and cheese, you will need:

  • thin Armenian roll - 1 piece,
  • ham - 250-300 grams,
  • hard cheese - 250-300 grams,
  • mayonnaise - 3-4 tablespoons,
  • fresh or pickled cucumbers at will - 2-3 pieces,
  • fresh herbs.

Such a roll is prepared very quickly, so all preliminary preparation will consist in cutting the filling.

There are two ways to stack the filling.

The first is to cut the cheese and ham into very thin slices. On a sheet of pita bread smeared with mayonnaise, spread them in two layers. Put thinly cut cucumbers on top and sprinkle with herbs. Then roll the roll tightly. Please note that the thicker you make the cheese and ham slices, the more difficult it will be to roll the roll and the thicker it will turn out in the end.

The second method is to grate the cheese on a coarse grater, cut the ham into thin strips, chop the cucumbers in the same way as ham. After that, mix cheese, ham and cucumbers with mayonnaise, as for preparing a salad. Then, spread the filling over the pita bread with an even layer. Tightly twist the pita bread and put it in the refrigerator to soak, previously wrapped in cling film.

Before serving, cut the roll into circles 2-3 centimeters thick. A delicious appetizer for the festive table is ready!

Lavash rolls with Korean carrots

For a roll you will need:

  • Korean carrots - 200 grams,
  • hard boiled eggs - 2 pieces,
  • processed cheese - 200 grams,
  • greens,
  • some mayonnaise,
  • a clove of garlic.

To make pita rolls with Korean carrots, prepare pita bread. Spread it out on a dry, clean surface. Grate hard-boiled eggs on a coarse grater, mix with melted cheese, finely chopped herbs and chopped garlic. Add mayonnaise Apply this filling on the pita bread in an even layer. Sprinkle with Korean carrots on top. If there are too large pieces, cut them into smaller pieces.

Then, roll up tightly and refrigerate for a while. Remember to wrap it in plastic wrap.

You can serve in an hour, cutting into circles 2-3 centimeters thick.

Lavash rolls with chicken

This is a simple and tasty filling for rolls, which is suitable both for a holiday and for a regular dinner. It will require:

  • thin Armenian lavash - 1 piece,
  • boiled chicken breast - 1 piece,
  • hard-boiled eggs - 2-3 pieces,
  • mayonnaise + sour cream in equal proportions - 3-4 tablespoons,
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves.

For this roll, the chicken must be boiled in salted water in advance, then cut into thin strips. Boil the eggs and grate them on a coarse grater.

Chop the garlic with a knife or in a special crusher. Mix eggs, garlic and mayonnaise and sour cream sauce, spread them evenly on pita bread. Place the chicken on top, spreading it over the entire surface. Add greens, such as parsley or lettuce, if desired.

After that, roll up the roll tightly, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. It is advisable to cut such a roll before serving.

Cooking a pita roll with red fish and cheese is quick, and the view of the dish is wonderful, the tenderness of the slightly salted fish is emphasized by the cheese sauce. Such rolls are good as a grateful breakfast ... and the festive table will be decorated.

I really love red fish. I have long learned to make it tasty and slightly salted (for 1 kg of fish fillet: 2 tablespoons of sugar + 4 tablespoons of salt, I rub the fish and refrigerate it for 12 hours, it turns out a wonderful s / s fish).

I learned to make such an original appetizer quite recently. I can't even understand why I didn't think of this myself, because it's so simple, and most importantly - delicious and presentable!
It happened to me to drop into a neighboring work department, and there a colleague was arranging a buffet reception on the occasion of defending a dissertation. Well, how could I not congratulate her, especially since we are working in the same project and have known each other for a long time.
Considering that the time was approaching lunchtime, I was pretty hungry and gladly agreed to stay for the buffet table. I liked the snacks so much that then I went to get some recipes to write them down in my "piggy bank".
Of course, she could not remain indifferent to such a very exquisite snack as Armenian lavash rolls and. It is so delicious and easy to prepare that now I only make fish this way. And it doesn't matter whether such a snack is intended for a home dinner or for a festive table - only your mood is important, and everything else will follow.
For a snack, I take thin pita bread, you can buy it in any supermarket in the bread section. Be sure to look at the date of manufacture, because pita bread packed in a film can become moldy, and this is generally unacceptable for its further use.
Another ingredient in this snack is soft cheese. Here you can show your imagination and take either processed cheese or soft milk, such as feta.
And, of course, the most important component of the snack is lightly salted fish (salmon, salmon, trout). The main thing is that the fish is fresh, well salted and, of course, boneless milled.
We cook easily and simply a roll, wrap it in foil and cool it before cutting. But you'd better see everything yourself, with your own eyes. I bring to your attention a pita roll with red fish, a step-by-step recipe with a photo with all the details.

- thin pita bread - 1-2 sheets,
- slightly salted fish (red) - 300 g,
- soft cheese (processed) - 100-200 g,
- greens (dill), fresh - a bunch.

Recipe with photo step by step:

Preparation:

The most important point in preparing a snack is cutting the fish, because even if the fish is already milled, you still need to check it for bones and, if necessary, remove them with tweezers. Then cut the prepared fish into thin slices.
We sort out the greens and rinse with cold water. Next, dry and chop finely.

We lay out the pita bread and thoroughly coat it with cheese.

Then put slices of salted fish on top of the cheese.

Next, sprinkle the fish with finely chopped herbs.

Now we carefully roll up the pita bread in the form of a roll and pack it in cling film or foil (it is better to initially lay it on the surface and cook a snack on it).

We put the roll in a cool place for a couple of hours,

and then we make slices and treat guests to a delicious snack.

Bon Appetit!
