So I finally did, and tried these crackers with flax seeds. True, they did not turn out as beautiful as Natalia's. I don’t even know why, maybe it’s the oven or something else. But it tastes like crackers!



I thought if I can’t find flax seeds, I’ll make it with sesame seeds. I found something similar in the supermarket. I didn’t know for sure if it was flax seeds or not. None to taste. I had no idea what kind of cookies they would turn out to be. But when they were baked in the oven, they had a pleasant aftertaste ... I liked it! So I will assume that these are the very ones - flax seeds ...

Ingredients:

  • 150 g flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt without a slide
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 60 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • From these ingredients I got 30 pcs.

Recipe:

Mix flour with baking powder, salt, sugar and flax seeds.



Gradually add milk and butter




knead the dough.



Look at the consistency of the mass, the flour is different everywhere, the dough should turn out like dumplings, not sticky to your hands.



Roll out thinly into 2-3 mm.



Cut into circles or cut into squares, prick with a fork.



Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden (Preheat oven to 200C).

Let's get to work!
We sift the flour. We saturate it with oxygen.
Add 0.5 teaspoon of baking powder directly into the sieve.

Mix 0.5 teaspoon of salt and 1 dessert spoon of sugar with flour.

After making a deepening, pour in 50 ml of vegetable oil.

Gradually add a glass of milk, kneading the dough with a spoon.

The result should be an elastic, soft, pliable dough.
Vegetable oil does not allow it to stick to hands and various surfaces.
Do not knead it for a long time, so as not to clog with flour. After kneading, let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Divide a piece of rested, finished dough into 2-3 parts.

Take one of the parts and roll it with a rolling pin into a thin layer.
Let's do it right on parchment paper.


Poke holes all over the dough with a fork.
Divide with a knife into portioned pieces.
We give shape to future crackers.

Sprinkle with sunflower seeds.

Then flax seeds.
You can add sesame or sea salt crystals.

We fix the topping with a rolling pin by pressing and pressing.
In this form, transfer the parchment with the dough to a baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 200 "degrees for 10 minutes.

Shine with egg yolk.
Bring to readiness, in the oven, another 5-7 minutes.
After the time has elapsed, remove the cake from the oven and let cool.

A good alternative to store-bought crackers and bars are homemade grain and seed crackers. You can have them for breakfast or a snack at work. A couple of small cookies and hunger is gone, to maintain beauty, harmony and health, the recipe is worth taking note of.

These unsweetened seed crackers are a real miracle, they do a good job of controlling hunger. Their calorie content due to seeds and nuts, of course, is high, but the bottom line is that you don’t eat much, but there are many benefits to the body. I like their taste, I love them because they are spicy, savory and completely sugar-free.

The peculiarities of cooking are that the crackers are not prepared so quickly, it takes time to prepare the products: it is better to soak the bran for several hours (you can overnight). In addition, the baking process is more like drying; at a relatively low temperature, you will have to hold the crackers for an hour and a half or two. Let me tell you, the results are worth it.

Recipe for crackers with seeds:

Ingredients:

  • 100 g sunflower
  • 50 g pumpkin seeds
  • 20 g sesame seeds
  • 20 g amaranth seeds
  • 70 g flaxseed
  • ¾ teaspoon black cumin
  • 200 ml water
  • 20 g dried tomatoes
  • 1 tsp smoked sweet paprika
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 50 g wheat bran
  • 50 g buckwheat bran
  • 15 g milk thistle
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ⅓ teaspoon hot paprika (red pepper is hot, you can add it to taste or not use at all).

How to make crackers:

  1. Bran pour water and let it brew.
  2. Add starch, spices, washed grains to the swollen bran (the seeds can be left whole or ground in a coffee grinder or crushed in a mortar, this does not affect the taste of crackers, it's just a matter of personal preference, I like it more when there are a lot of whole grains in these crackers).
  3. Mix all the ingredients until smooth, put a thin layer on baking paper and put the baking sheet with the mass on the crackers in an oven preheated to 100 degrees for an hour and a half.
  4. Ready-made crackers can be eaten with salads, as a snack, with tea or coffee, kefir or yogurt, served with soup and second courses. Bon appetit!

I present to your attention a delicious version of the popular unsweetened cookies - crackers, the recipe of which is incredibly simple! After all, cookies consist of the usual components that are in any closet, and the time you spend preparing it is ridiculous.

The classic cracker cookie, a homemade recipe with a photo of which is presented in this article, contains three ingredients that are unique in their usefulness - olive oil, sunflower and flax seeds. Everyone knows about the benefits of olives and sunflowers, but flax seeds are eaten very rarely, and in vain! Dietary fiber, potassium and vitamin E, as well as omega-3 fatty acids and amino acids, make these small seeds the most nutritious plant-based proteins.

How to cook classic kefir crackers

Prepare all ingredients for baking cookies. Flax seeds can be bought in the market or in a large supermarket, peeled roasted sunflower seeds - in the same place.

Mix all the dry ingredients - sifted wheat flour, salt (it is better to take large sea, do not take small iodized - its amount is difficult to calculate and the cookies will turn out too salty), baking powder, sugar and flax and sunflower seeds.

Add 3 tablespoons to dry ingredients in bowl. tablespoons of olive oil, it will make the crackers crumbly and saturate with fats that are good for the body.

Gradually pouring in kefir, knead the dough. It is convenient to mix with a spoon first, and then with your hand. It is more convenient to finish kneading dough for crackers on the table. Kefir can drink a little more or less.

The dough will not turn out cool, but it keeps its shape well. Wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 25-30 minutes so that all the ingredients “make friends” with each other.

After this time, take out the dough for crackers with flax and sunflower seeds according to this recipe with a step-by-step photo, divide into two parts and roll out with a rolling pin on a floured flat surface into a wide rectangle. The thickness of the dough should be 2-3 mm.

Use a curly or regular knife to cut a layer of dough into free-form cracker cookies.

Line a baking sheet with parchment or butter and carefully place the flaxseed crackers on it. You can sprinkle a pinch of sesame seeds on top or drizzle with a little olive oil.

Bake until golden brown in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Spread cookies at a small distance from each other, as they practically do not increase in volume.

Transfer the warm crackers to a wicker basket and place the next batch on the same parchment. I got two baking sheets, which was enough for five people.
