In the near Soviet Union, it was not possible to buy tasty and fresh cottage cheese cookies. Each housewife of the Soviet era had her own favorite recipe in stock. Modern supermarket shelves are overflowing with a variety of sweet pastries, including cottage cheese biscuits. For example, I am afraid to give my daughters purchased cottage cheese pastries.

Cottage cheese is a perishable product, which means that the composition will contain a lot of additives and preservatives. I prefer to bake cottage cheese cookies for children at home, especially since they cook very quickly. It turns out to be delicate, aromatic, soft and "sugar".

We will use the ingredients according to the list.

We take rustic cottage cheese with noticeable grains. You can bake cookies from curd mass or curd product, but then it will turn out to be less "curd" in taste. We grind the cottage cheese with our hands until fine grains.

Add soft butter.

Combine cottage cheese with butter and aromatic vanilla sugar. The mass should be tender, without large lumps.

Add flour and baking powder for the dough.

Knead the curd dough bun. The dough should not be too tight. We send the bun for 30 minutes to the top shelf of the refrigerator.

We take the dough. We divide it into two parts. Roll out the first piece. We hide the second part in the refrigerator again. The layer should not be thin: about 5 mm or slightly higher.

Using a curly knife, cut into small stripes.

We take each strip. We bend it in the form of a bow. Dip the bows on one side in sugar.

Place the bows on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. You do not need to grease a baking sheet with oil. There is enough of it in the curd dough.

We send the bows to the oven preheated to 200 ° C for 15-20 minutes.

“Bows” cottage cheese cookies for children are baked! Easily remove from the baking sheet. Cool and serve to the kids for dessert. My youngest daughter liked the cookies so much that she decided to treat them to her favorite LOL doll. She also has a bow.
