Muffins are a tasty, varied, healthy dish for children and expectant mothers, which is easy and quick to prepare. Learn how to make chicken muffins with us, show your imagination - and we guarantee your family will love them.

Translated from English, the word "muffin" means a cupcake. But here's the paradox. We consider a cupcake to be a small sweet pastry cooked in a special form. Dough for muffins is used both yeast and yeast-free, often they add various fillings - fruits, berries, nuts, chocolate, etc. But muffins (although they are also cupcakes) are mostly savory. They are baked in the same tins as sweet muffins, but they include chicken, pork, various vegetables (zucchini, potatoes, tomatoes, corn, peas), eggs, etc. Muffins are always small, they fit in the palm of an adult. There are a huge number of muffin recipes - we offer one of them - with chicken.

Composition (for 3 pcs.):

  • 1 chicken fillet (200-250 g);
  • 1 tomato;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 100 g of hard cheese;
  • 3 tbsp. tablespoons of flour;
  • 100 ml mayonnaise;
  • salt;
  • greens.

Cooking method:

1. Boil the chicken fillet in a little salted water. Then we pull it out, let it cool and tear it into small fibers.

2. Preparing the dressing. Mix 2 eggs and 3 tablespoons of flour until smooth. Add 100 ml of mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.

3. Mix the dressing with the chicken fillet.

4. Put the resulting mass into silicone muffin tins. If you are using the mold for the first time, then grease with a small amount of vegetable oil, but if you have already used it before, then this is no longer necessary. The mass should be flush with the edge of the mold, there is no need to make a slide.

5. Cut the tomato into 0.5 cm thick slices and place on top of the chicken.

6. Three hard cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle generously on top. Try to keep the cheese as compact as possible so that it doesn't spread too much during cooking.

7. Bake muffins in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

8. We take out the muffins from the molds. You will be surprised how easy it is to do this, because nothing sticks to the silicone. Decorate with herbs and serve. Chicken muffins are delicious both hot and chilled.
