We honestly tried to rely on originality and do without “Coffeemania” in the gastronomic ratings, but if this can be done with lunches and dinners, then it would be a crime to ignore the iconic Moscow breakfasts. Networked, but always at a high quality level, “Coffeemania”, as usual, is ahead of the rest when it comes to where to start your morning. The ideal raf coffee - classic and orange - is truly addictive: half of the capital’s residents, after “Coffeemania,” do not recognize any other raf. The Singapore latte with soft creamy caramel and a hint of lemongrass is also wonderful, as is the tea - we especially love the invigorating fiery ginger tea. The most delicious quesadilla in the city with the right guacamole, pancakes with salmon and fluffy croissants are real hits on the menu. By the way, to popular locations on Bolshaya Nikitskaya, Frunzenskaya, Yakimanka, etc. a branch of “Coffeemania” was added at the Usachevsky market - it is the most fashionable this season.

Time passes, and “Strelka” at “Red October” was and remains a place of Moscow’s power - secular, cultural, gastronomic. The programmatic view of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the conceptual leisure formats that the format sets - Strelka is no longer just a bar, but a bar at the Institute of Media, Architecture and Design. The updated breakfast menu is considered one of the most successful in the city: the signature “Strelka Breakfast” is especially good, consisting of two poached eggs, pastrami, oyster mushrooms, potato waffles, lentil and tomato stew. Also on the menu are the obligatory eggs Benedict, omelettes, toast, a delicious quiche made from buckwheat flour with goat cheese, spinach and radishes, as well as cheesecakes and farm cottage cheese.

Classic French brasserie from very authoritative people in the industry - Dmitry Zotov and Sergei Krylov - Pâté, as the name suggests, plays on the love of French cuisine for pates, but does not rely on this only one thing: after all, the notorious &Co is just about that that there is somewhere to roam around here. Pates and terrines - from classic duck to signature ones like calf liver parfait. The most “morning” option is traditionally considered to be artichoke pate with truffle oil. Scrambled quail eggs are a great pairing for it. All pates are served with freshly baked baguettes, and serving main courses in frying pans is a nice feature of the establishment. There are always fresh baked goods on display, where mainly aromatic croissants are presented - classic, with almonds, as well as unusual combinations: with crab, salmon, tuna, avocado. One of the most popular breakfast items is ricotta cheesecakes with raspberry coulis and sour cream, and an alternative to all types of coffee here are “non-tea teas”: with sea buckthorn, ginger and berries.

The maximum concentration of gastronomic establishments is in the Patriarchal district, the main locations of which we have talked about more than once. But if you get out of the noisy thicket and walk along Malaya Bronnaya towards Tverskoy Boulevard, you can find a cozy and quiet Bronco cafe. Vintage furniture, a wine cabinet covering the entire wall, paintings and a spectacular chandelier of six thousand light bulbs create an atmosphere that is conducive to long gatherings, even if it’s just breakfast.

For the morning menu, chef Mark Gelman created 12 items to suit every taste: eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce on traditional toast with roast beef or with salmon and pesto, tender oatmeal with banana with coconut milk, ricotta cheesecakes with currants, homemade yogurt with pear or with berry sauce and muesli. But the main point for everyone who follows the mantra of “eat your own breakfast” is the branded Bronco. This meal consists of eggs cooked to your liking, your choice of roast beef, turkey or salmon, toast with cream cheese and pesto butter and a delicious cup of coffee or tea.

The most popular establishment in Rappoport and all of Moscow in principle - this simple way can describe this place with a trump view of Red Square, located on the 1st floor of the National Hotel. The fashion for Zhivago is associated with the boom in Russian food and democratic formats while outwardly observing all the canons of a classic restaurant: the view, the interior, and the respectable audience are a bonus to a good variation on the theme of Russian cuisine at very reasonable prices. It’s still impossible to get here without a reservation, and all of secular Moscow flocks to Zhivago for breakfast. The impressive menu presents all the variations on the theme of pancakes: fluffy yeast pancakes, thin stuffed pancakes, as well as pies and porridges (our favorite is millet with crayfish tails), which are served with aromatic black tea in iron cup holders.

Less than a year ago, the marginal stall on Chistye Prudy “Professor Poof” turned into a full-fledged cafe, which made fans incredibly happy. Now the kitchen has moved to Volkhonka, and this indicates that the project is doing well. The proximity to the Pushkin Museum makes it possible to experience beauty right after breakfast, and “Professor Poof” takes the recipe ideas from cookbooks of the 19th century, which it slightly modernizes. In addition to baked goods - croissants and rolls - in the mornings they offer an omelette on a linen waffle with salmon gravlax with Hollandaise sauce and Vologda-style eggs baked in a cast-iron bowl with cheese and bacon. Rye pancakes with peach and prunes and pancakes - cheesecakes according to an 1854 recipe made from homemade cottage cheese wrapped in a pancake - deserve special mention. We recommend washing it all down with rosehip, barberry and herbal Russian tea.

An example of an option for a special occasion is breakfast at the Metropol Hotel. In the hall under the painted dome, breakfasts are served on a royal scale - to the sounds of a live harp. There is everything that every gourmet dreams of: a pancake station with caviar and salmon, an assortment of cereals and egg dishes, cold cuts of meat and cheese, and dozens of variations of fresh baked goods. Of course, such a table requires a glass of champagne, which is also included in the morning set menu.

It is impossible not to mention the “Asian” table, the halal menu and the fitness table with dietary and low-calorie dishes. And if you come for breakfast on Sunday, you will be able to combine business with even more pleasure: on this day there is a special offer that includes breakfast and a tour of the legendary hotel with historian Ekaterina Egorova. Come with children - children under 6 years old are fed free of charge at Metropol.

Moscow - Delhi

Vegetarian breakfasts at Patriarch's from 10 am

On Monday there is a day off at Moscow-Delhi, and from Tuesday to Sunday from ten in the morning until half past twelve they can prepare breakfast for you. Unlike lunches and dinners, at this time you can order individual items, rather than a whole set; there is only one global difference in the dishes – sweet and non-sweet. And if you give notice of your arrival 24 hours in advance, they can prepare cheesecakes without eggs and flour, from yogurt (500 rubles), which are not on the menu. While often at breakfast time there is almost no one in the restaurant, on such days it is quiet and even more homely than in the evening. Important news: in the morning you can order bread with farm butter; it is now prepared in the restaurant itself. Rye, sourdough, from a wood-burning oven.

Viili, pastrami and filter coffee from 12 to 4 pm

At first, breakfast at Yunost was served only on weekends and until three, but now - every day until four. The menu has changed a bit, but, of course, the pastrami waffle, the restaurant's signature product, remains on it. There's also a cinnamon roll left (although it's only served on weekends) - they're often sold out before breakfast ends, so it's worth booking yours as soon as you enter the restaurant. Another special dish of Yunost, which in Moscow can only be found here, is viili. Viili is a Finnish fermented milk product with a special texture, dense and slightly slimy. This special viscousness is imparted to curdled milk by a special starter. With viili they serve French toast with jam and granola, which also includes a whole chest of wonders, guess for yourself - both dishes on weekends. On weekdays the breakfast menu is shorter.

The breakfast menu at Margarita is perfectly composed, it has absolutely everything an average European might need for breakfast: porridge, cheesecakes, toast, eggs (omelettes, poached, boiled), croissants, yoghurts, coffee, juices and sparkling wine. There are several variations for each position. Butter and homemade apricot jam - with toast or croissant. Croissant - with ham and cheese, with smoked salmon and labneh with herbs, with cheese and tomato. Avocado toast - with poached egg, Uzbek tomatoes, prosciutto; or our favorite, totally green, with mint edamame.

With poached everything is traditional - smoked salmon, brioche, egg and hollandaise sauce. Maybe the dish is a little lacking in a crispy ingredient, but on the other hand, the salmon is absolutely divine and you can forgive anything for it. The three-egg omelet has the most options for toppings: smoked salmon, avocado, roasted tomatoes, Parmesan, prosciutto and crab. Each item, of course, costs separate money. To drink: champagne, sparkling and prosecco, decent coffee and freshly squeezed juices: orange, grapefruit and pomegranate. From nine to noon, right by the pond, every day. Everything suggests that these are the new best breakfasts on the Patriarch's.

The restaurant among the boutiques of Bolshaya Dmitrovka launched breakfast about a week ago, and now Sempre opens at eight in the morning. Now the chef at the restaurant is Luigi Magni (Pinch, “Ugolek”). The menu includes eggs, porridge and cottage cheese - constructors: you need to choose the method of preparing eggs, the type of porridge, cottage cheese or yogurt and order additives to suit your taste. In addition to them, dishes are more complex: smoothie bowls (one of the three is called the bowl of the day, changes every morning), bruschetta on rye bread with guacamole and poached eggs, hummus and baked vegetables or with pickled salmon, cheesecakes made from regular or baked cottage cheese - dessert, cheesecakes gluten free and sugar free. In general, they serve here everything that Muscovites are used to having for breakfast in most cafes or restaurants in the city. It’s just delicious, the staff are really friendly and the interior is chic.

Great English Breakfast

Pork sausages with wheat toast with butter, tomato salsa, English mustard and hollandaise sauce

4 out of 4

Robert Burns is a small pub owned by chef Andrei Shashkov and an anonymous investor, with authentic Scottish dishes and a conscientiously compiled beer list. In the spring, the new pub was rocking and open from twelve, and in the summer it set an alarm clock for eight in the morning, and along with this, breakfasts appeared on the menu. On weekdays they can be eaten before noon, and on weekends from ten in the morning to two in the afternoon.

The breakfasts, like all the bar food, are Scottish, meaning there will be huge portions on your plate no matter what you order. Benedict with hollandaise sauce, bacon and salmon is served on blue-painted dishes. The eggs are placed on an English muffin. For two it is convenient to take a large English breakfast, it includes two eggs, the same number of pork sausages, bacon, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, potato croquettes and black pudding (aka blood sausage, where would you be without it in a Scottish place). The price of any dish includes tea with linden honey and rose hips or cocoa.

Quotes from the menu

Big English breakfast, RUR 620, pork sausages with wheat toast, tomato salsa, mustard and hollandaise sauce, RUR 290, Benedict with English muffin, RUR 420, English scones with sour cream, jam and butter, RUR 150.

Umi Oysters

Bacon sandwich and oyster omelette from 8am

Subject to the Central Market's policy of opening early, breakfasts have been introduced at the oyster bar - like the market itself, they are available from eight in the morning. The menu is short, seven items: porridge, three omelettes and three sandwiches. Chef Evgeniy Meshcheryakov says that breakfasts could have brought chaos to the restaurant concept, but this did not happen: the omelette is fried in a Japanese tamago frying pan, filled with fried large oysters and rolled into a roll, with vegetables cooked in a wok placed on top. The American BLT sandwich was also adapted in its own way to the Umi format: bacon from the belly of a whale is hidden under toast from Borodino bread - it is almost raw, slightly smoked. The sandwich is called "Moby Dick" on the menu.

Quotes from the menu

Porridge on Japanese rice, 250 rubles, green omelette with citrus cream cheese, 350 rubles, sandwich with oysters and avocado, 350 rubles, Moby Dick sandwich, 450 rubles.

Dizengof 99

Hearty Israeli breakfast for two

1 of 2

2 of 2

Breakfast “For Two” is available only at Dizengof 99 on Pokrovka - here the area and kitchen are larger than on Taganka, and it is possible to prepare more complex dishes. Like the Israeli Breakfast, For Two can be ordered until the end of the day. It costs 1,450 rubles, and the choice of spreads and drinks is more substantial: to the previous ones they added marinated salmon, tomato sauce, matbukha with eggplant, chocolate Nutella, kiwi, and avocado mousse. Plus, you get two plates of eggs, two servings of granola, juice, tea or coffee, cider or a Mimosa cocktail for everyone.

A proper breakfast will provide the body with the necessary energy and prepare it for the day's activities. The main requirement for such a meal is usefulness, nutritional value, and pleasant taste. But it should be said right away that not every modern person eats a hearty breakfast. He simply doesn't have enough time for this. In other cases, for example in tourism, it is simply not possible to prepare meals. Since a similar problem exists, it was decided to organize off-site breakfasts, where the menu is well thought out and implemented. Among many companies in the restaurant industry, it is our Catering Banquet organization that is able to prepare a unique breakfast menu and deliver it to the specified location. We will organize an unforgettable breakfast for you and the next time you need it, you will return to us again.

Who needs breakfast?

Organizing breakfast is a completely new service in the world of the restaurant business. It is still in little demand, but is still in high demand. For this reason, the Catering Banquet company has excellent experience. Over all those years of existence, our specialists closely monitor statistics and know who needs breakfast and when.

  1. First of all, such a service is convenient for tourism. Excursions are often held for a long time, so collection and preparation for departure begins early in the morning and tourists simply do not have time to visit the canteen, cafe, restaurant, or they are not even open yet, since it is still early in the hour. In this case, an off-site breakfast is ordered. It is delivered in special boxes that allow you to store prepared dishes for some time.
  2. Very often, breakfasts are ordered to country cottages and dachas, where customers celebrated some event the day before. None of the vacationers will want to cook in the morning, everyone is recovering from the previous night, but they still want to eat. And in this case, it is very important to eat properly and tasty.
  3. Quite often, customers are companies that care about their employees. They order breakfast for them. Most often this happens in organizations where the working day begins very early and cafes, restaurants and canteens along the way are still closed.

This type of service is very convenient and practical. The main thing is to contact the catering company where they cook delicious food, use the best products in the preparation, and ask for objective, affordable prices.

Rules for creating a breakfast menu

This type of service is now considered a hit. More and more orders are being placed. The existing experience in our company allows us to competently select the breakfast menu and delight our customers with tasty, healthy and nutritious food. In a word, we know exactly what breakfast should be.

Our employees adhere to strict rules that help us prepare excellent and healthy dishes:

  • All cooked breakfast dishes should be light. Otherwise, after a hearty and heavy breakfast, severe hunger will arise at lunchtime;
  • our chefs prepare balanced dishes that contain all the beneficial substances and microelements;
  • in preparing breakfast, we use only the freshest, unspoiled products;
  • The menu necessarily includes dishes such as porridge with fruit, dishes made from dairy products: omelettes, cheesecakes, pancakes, casseroles. In addition, the order includes light salads, pastries and a drink, most often coffee or tea.

Having ordered from us, the breakfast menu will definitely be agreed upon with you, so there is no need to worry about whether they will bring me what I ordered or not. If you trust us, we will not let you down and you will definitely contact us again.
