Sushi differs from rolls in the way they are prepared. This product is low calorie. In addition to sea fish and rice, the product contains soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi. Soy sauce improves blood microcirculation and has a beneficial effect on the nervous system. Wasabi has antiseptic, antibacterial properties, and ginger has antioxidant properties. Sushi is a good natural antidepressant.

When buying sushi rolls for yourself, you need to pay attention to the quality characteristics of the components. The fish should be fresh, without a pungent odor, and not dry. The rice should be aromatic, not rolled or pressed.

My nearest hypermarket bears the proud name of the Globus chain hypermarkets, which came to Russia from Germany. With the advent of this hypermarket, my family and I became its frequent customers.

We value Globus primarily for fresh and high-quality products in a wide range.

The fish products department offers an assortment of ready-made rolls, as well as various small sets of Globus’s own production.

I love rolls, but I am very wary of store-bought ones, but since I trust Globus, I tried some rolls called “Canada Light”.

Where can I buy?

• You can buy rolls of your own production "Globus" only in the hypermarket chain of the same name.

What is the price?

• A package of Canada Light rolls weighing 220 grams cost me 309 rubles. The price of rolls is cheaper than in network deliveries. But much more expensive than other ready-made rolls from supermarkets.

Rolls are packed in a transparent container.

The container is sealed with a strip marked “own production”. Thanks to this, the rolls will not open during transportation, or some hungry buyer will not be able to easily and quickly steal a couple of rolls from the box))

The composition of the rolls is good, without any junk that can be found in other ready-made rolls on store shelves.

When buying rolls in the fish products department, you can also add soy sauce, wasabi, ginger and other roll flavors. I took wasabi and soy sauce.

A package of “Canada Light” rolls weighing 220 grams contains 8 rolls. About the same size.

The rolls are made quite neatly. In each of them, salmon can be seen inside on the front side.

But after turning the rolls over, I was upset... The salmon was no longer visible in every roll. That is, in fact, it is there, but it is such a small piece that it is no longer visible from the reverse side.

• To be honest, I was surprised, usually my favorite hypermarket never skimps on toppings in its products. But apparently rolls became the exception to the rule.

I ate the rolls a day after they were produced.

The rolls tasted good. The cream cheese is delicious, the cucumber is crunchy, and my favorite eel completes the picture perfectly.

The only negative I found too bland rice, which was very pressed.

When visiting Japanese restaurants, I prefer rolls with eel; I like the slightly bitter taste of eel, in the case of Canada Light rolls from Globus. The eel was decent, but the tails from the eel were not chewable at all, they had to be pulled out of the mouth.

Having tried a lot of rolls with eel, I have never encountered anything like this before. This, of course, does not affect the taste, but nevertheless it is somehow not pleasant.

My impressions:

• Canada Light rolls, produced in-house by the Globus hypermarket, have a good composition and a relatively low cost.
• The rolls tasted good, but the rice was too compressed and bland. This makes it seem very dry.

In general, I liked the rolls, I think that in the future I will try some more from Globus production.
