  • Wheat flour - 220 g.
  • Butter - 120 g.
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc.
  • Milk - 3 tbsp. spoons;

  • Cheese - 120 g.
  • Liquid cream - 180 ml.
  • A pinch of salt, a pinch of ground pepper;

Cooking step by step

Wash zucchini. You can remove the skin if you wish. Cut into thin slices, salt and pepper.

Peel the onion, cut into small pieces. Fry in oil over low heat for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper as desired. Then add zucchini, stir and fry for another 10-15 minutes. The onion should brown, and the zucchini should become more tender.

Cut cold butter into cubes and grind with flour. Crack an egg into it, add milk and a little salt. Make a dense dough out of this, which then needs to be put in the refrigerator for a couple of tens of minutes.

Then the dough needs to be rolled out and laid in a greased form. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, send the dough there for 5-10 minutes, so that you end up with a cake.

Add eggs, salt and pepper to the cream, then beat. Grate the cheese there, and then mix.

It has a lot of proteins (macronutrients), which means that this cake is an excellent food for athletes and just active people. The dough is special, vegetable, cooked on kefir. The composition of the pie, in addition to minced meat, also includes potatoes. All in all, a great option for a hearty meal.

  • Boiled potatoes - 2 pcs.
  • Fresh zucchini - 600-800 g.
  • Carrots - 1-2 pcs.
  • Flour - 300 g.
  • Kefir (any fat content) - 100 ml.

How to make this zucchini pie

First, prepare the meat filling. Finely chop the onion and add to the minced meat. Add sour cream, pepper and salt. Mix well. Everything - the filling is ready. I’ll say in advance that in this recipe, minced meat is put raw in the dough. The cake will turn out more juicy, although it will take longer to cook. But nothing prevents you from frying minced meat in advance. Do as you please.

Now let's move on to the test. Wash the zucchini, remove the skin and grate on a coarse grater. Get rid of excess juice. Add mashed potatoes, butter, kefir and an egg to the zucchini.

Mix flour with salt and baking powder, then pour it into the zucchini mixture. Mix well again until a homogeneous juicy vegetable dough is obtained.

Grease a baking dish with any oil, lay out an even layer of 2/3 of the dough.

Then comes a layer of minced meat, and then a layer of the remaining zucchini dough.

Cover the cake with foil and put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Then you can remove the foil and bake the cake until cooked through for about 20-30 minutes. The foil is needed so that the top of the dough does not start to burn prematurely. The cake is juicy and there is a risk that somewhere it will not be baked. There is no need to rush anywhere.

Quick pie with zucchini

An easy-to-prepare jellied zucchini vegetable pie will not leave indifferent lovers of quick baking. Someone calls this a casserole with zucchini, but in my understanding, if there is flour in the composition, then this is a pie. Be sure to try it.

Ingredients:

  • Zucchini (zucchini) - 500 g.
  • Cream - 200 ml.
  • Onion - 1 medium onion.
  • Flour - 140 g.
  • Cheese - 100-120 g.
  • Eggs - 4-5 pcs.
  • Salt, pepper and other seasonings and spices - optional;
  • Butter - 30 g.
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) - 30 ml.

Cooking process

Peel the onion and cut into thin long pieces. Lightly fry it in oil until golden brown.

  • Puff pastry (unsweetened) - 250-300 g.
  • Zucchini - 600 g.
  • Cheese - 200 g.
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Garlic - 3 cloves;
  • Fresh herbs (dill and onion) - 100 g.
  • Salt and pepper - to taste;
  • Vegetable oil - 30 ml.

  • Mayonnaise - 3 tbsp. spoons;

Cooking steps

Coarsely grate the zucchini, and then squeeze a little to get out the excess juice. Grate cheese there, beat in eggs. Add mayonnaise mixed with mustard. Finely chop the garlic cloves, or use a garlic press. Salt, pepper. The more pepper, the more fragrant and piquant the cake will be.

Another glass, which is indicated in the ingredients, we will need to dust the work surface and sprinkle the cake before baking. And also in the event that the dough requires a flour "additive".

Put about half a pack of butter (or a little more) into a bowl of flour. For this recipe, butter can be either chilled or at room temperature. We grind the product with flour.

Now we need to pour milk into the bowl. I used fatty homemade, with the presence of cream. You can use sour milk or sour cream (about two to three tablespoons).

Knead the dough until it turns into one ball. We divide it into two parts, one slightly smaller than the other. Cover the dough with cling film and place in the refrigerator. We need the dough to freeze. This will take 25-30 minutes. In this case, the degree of freezing of a larger piece should be somewhat less than that of a smaller ball. Just let it cool down a bit.

While the dough is in the refrigerator, we will prepare the zucchini filling. To do this, wash a small vegetable thoroughly and dry it. Trim both edges. If the fruit is overripe, remove the skin and, cutting, select the core. I used a young zucchini, so I just rubbed it on a coarse grater.
