  • Boil water. Wash the tomatoes, make a cross-shaped incision on the side of the fruit opposite the stalk. Dip the tomatoes in boiling water, after 30 seconds, remove them with a slotted spoon and transfer to a saucepan filled with cold water. Take it out again, pat dry with a paper towel and peel off the skin. Cut off the seal near the stem, cut the tomato pulp into small cubes (about a centimeter).
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan, put the onion in it and fry it over low heat until golden brown.
