This dish can already claim a place on the holiday table, since it not only looks bright, but also contains red caviar, which is not included in the daily diet of most people, but is associated with the New Year and other holidays. Of course, it can be replaced with an artificial product, which will make the cost of the finished dish significantly lower.

Operating procedure:

  1. Prepare cheese cream by mixing hard cheese, grated on a fine grater, and mayonnaise. Generously grease the lavash sheet with the resulting mixture;
  2. Then evenly lay out the remaining products, chopped on a coarse grater, in layers in the following order: crab sticks, eggs, fresh cucumber;
  3. Place the red caviar in a roller along one of the narrow edges, and then roll the sheet so that the caviar is in the center of the cross section. Once cooled, the dish will be easy to cut and ready to serve.

As with any dish, even something as relatively new as a pita roll, experienced housewives use the following tricks during the preparation process:

  1. It is very difficult to coat a thin unleavened flatbread with sauce with a spoon; the pita bread tends to stick to the spoon and tear. The solution will be a mesh. The sauce should be transferred to a regular bag, make a hole and draw a fine mesh on the sheet;
  2. If the roll is stored in the refrigerator for a long time, it can become weathered, so if it has to spend the night in the cold, it is better to wrap it tightly in cling film;
  3. To reduce the calorie content of a dish and make it more dietary, mayonnaise can be replaced with low-fat sour cream or natural yogurt, adding piquancy to their taste using spices or mustard, lemon juice, garlic;
  4. If you replace the hard cheese in the recipe with cream or curd cheese, you can do without mayonnaise altogether when assembling the roll.
