A pointless operation, it just doesn't matter, I tried different options.

The original recipe emphasized that the oil should be at room temperature. For a recipe for one egg when mixing with a mixer, this is not so critical - well, there will be a few lumps left, this will not particularly affect the final result. When making more dough, the cold butter is simply difficult to stir, the lumps will be larger and they will be larger. It gives an uneven dough structure and a worse rise, but I can't say that it kills everything. In short, room temperature oil is just easier to work with.

Pour sifted flour and baking powder into the liquid mass. Can I add unsifted ones? You can, but they are simply more difficult to stir and lumps may remain.

Stir the flour with baking powder into the liquid ingredients with a mixer at low speeds or with a fork until such a homogeneous creamy dough is obtained. It must be used immediately, otherwise you risk getting products without lifting. If the muffin tins are thin, then the baking sheet on which you place them in the oven should be cold, not preheated with the oven.

The rise of such a curd dough for muffins is decent, so the forms should not be filled more than two-thirds. The structure, I think, is clearly visible on the scrapping of the finished product. The surface is obtained with characteristic breaks.

The dough you see in this photo contains just lumps of cold butter. The baking temperature does not have a particular effect on the structure of the finished product, but it gives a different crust. If conducted with air circulation at 180-190 degrees, the crust will be darker and crisper. At 200 degrees without circulation, lighter products are obtained. They can be browned at the end.
