Cooking method


  1. Beat the egg whites with 120 g of sugar until a dense foam, on which the traces of the whisk are clearly visible and hold, forming a pattern. Fine sugar is recommended for the test.
  2. Pound the yolks with the rest of the sugar. Pour the vegetable oil into the mass, adding it slowly by a tablespoon to the mixture and without stopping whipping. Add soda to the yolk part, after extinguishing it in 0.5 tsp. vinegar or lemon juice. Mix the ingredients well. The mass should thicken a little.

  3. Pour the yolk mixture into the protein foam and mix with air movements from the bottom of the bowl up, as if folding the air layers.

  4. Sift the flour several times and add to the dough in small portions. Stir the biscuit mass until smooth. You can also read a more detailed description.

  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, brushing well with vegetable oil on each side. Divide the dough according to the size of the mold, no more than 1.5 cm thick.

  6. Put the cake to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 17 minutes. When the top of the biscuit is golden, remove the baking sheet from the oven.
