Preliminary preparation

For this salad, we will need to boil hard-boiled eggs (8 minutes after boiling) and chicken breast. It needs to be poured with a small amount of water, salted, brought to a boil, screw the fire to a minimum and cook for 20 minutes. Next, the products will need to be removed from the water and allowed to cool. Prunes need to be washed, pour hot water and let stand for 10 minutes to make it soft.

1 layer - chicken and mayonnaise

I chopped the cooled boiled chicken into small pieces, about 3-4 millimeters in size. I laid it out in a salad bowl in an even layer, trying to repeat the oval shape.


We apply mayonnaise on this layer. If you have chicken breast, then do not spare mayonnaise - it is lean and should be well soaked in sauce. I put in 2 tablespoons. If you took fatter meat, for example, from a thigh, then the amount of mayonnaise can be halved.


2 layer - prunes

Prunes after soaking will look like a sticky paste. I cut each berry in half, then into strips and across into cubes. Then I laid it on top of a layer of chicken. So that it does not crumble around the edges. It is not necessary to lubricate prunes with mayonnaise!

3 layer - walnuts

Nuts should be cut with a knife. So that they do not bounce and scatter on the table, first lightly press them down with the flat side of the knife, and then chop into pieces. Spreading them in a layer on prunes, press them a little to the surface. If the part crumbles down, it's not scary. It will turn out to be a very cute crumb. Essentially a natural setting. We also do not apply mayonnaise to this layer!


4 layer - egg white and mayonnaise

We need to separate the eggs into yolks and whites. Set aside the yolks and finely chop the whites. There will be enough of them. Spread on top of the nuts, leveling and lightly tamping.

We immediately put a thick layer of mayonnaise on the proteins. We do not regret! I don't really understand how people make mayonnaise mesh. Apparently, the sauce is being transferred somewhere from a standard container with a thick plastic neck. I deposit such balls from plastic packaging over the entire surface of the proteins. And then I go through a tablespoon a little. My mayonnaise is thick, it forms nice waves along the edge of the salad.

5 layer - cucumbers and mayonnaise

If you have long greenhouse cucumbers, there is no point in peeling them - the skin is not much different in density from the middle. If the cucumbers are ground or pimply varieties, be sure to remove the skin. Chop up the cucumber. I do it in cubes of 2-3 millimeters. Lay it on top of the egg whites. Act carefully.

On top of the cucumbers, apply a small layer of mayonnaise, about 1.5 tablespoons. Distribute carefully.

6 layer - egg yolk

Salad preparation is coming to an end. It remains only to decorate it with yolk. Grate it not with a fine grater and, starting from the center, sprinkle the entire top of the salad. You can press the yolks a little, but then sprinkle them with more yolk crumbs on top to create a fluffy effect.
