I got acquainted with stew quite recently, and, honestly, it became a discovery for me: I never thought that a hearty, nutritious and very tasty dish can be prepared from purchased canned food! Usually such products were at my risk zone. Of course, you can doubt the quality of many of these jars, but if you look into this issue, having studied everything to the bone, you can get a really good product.

So, I decided to cook a banal dish of pasta and purchased 1st grade beef stew in a saucepan. Instead of beef, you can use pork, only it is more fatty and high-calorie. Also, for cooking, I took garlic, ketchup, which can be safely replaced with tomato paste, and, of course, spices, but what about without them. For cooking pasta, I traditionally use water and vegetable oil so that they do not stick together.

The ingredients are ready, let's start cooking pasta with stew in a saucepan!

Peel the garlic and cut into plates of medium thickness.

We open the stew, put the pieces on a cutting board, if necessary, cut into smaller pieces, and also get rid of the veins.

Salt the boiled water, pour in the vegetable oil and throw in the pasta. Cook until al dente according to package directions.

Drain the cooked pasta in a colander and return to the pot.

Add prepared pieces of beef, garlic, ketchup, if desired, fat and liquid remaining in the jar, as well as spices: marjoram, thyme and dried dill.

Stir gently and return the saucepan to a low heat. Simmer covered for about 10-15 minutes. If you didn't add the stew liquid, add about half a cup of hot water.

At the end of cooking, salt and pepper the dish to taste.

Do not know how to cook pasta, more precisely, what can be cooked from them? Anything! But you, apart from a can of stew, have almost nothing else ... It doesn’t matter. These ingredients make a tasty and satisfying dish, easy to prepare.

By the way, do not confuse naval pasta with this pasta recipe. In the first case, you need 5 or more components, and in ours - 2 or three. That is, you can simply boil the pasta and, draining the water, mix with the stew. But the dish can be made tastier!

What pasta to take for our dish? The ones you currently have on the shelf. That is, bows or shells, vermicelli, etc. will go. It is advisable, of course, to choose those made from durum wheat. Firstly, it is useful, and secondly, they usually do not need to be rinsed with cold water. And so, we measure the right amount.

Immediately put a pot of water in. If you are at home, this is a stove, and in nature - a fire or some kind of handy tool.

While it boils, let's work on the onion. In what format? And in the one that is accepted by everyone for whom you are now trying.

We cook pasta according to the instructions, because. one won't work for everyone. But keep in mind that in any case, you need at least a liter of water for every 100 g of products. As soon as the water boils, salt it and send the pasta to boil.

The next character is a stew. You are now thinking - which one is more suitable - pork, beef or lamb? Any will go, as long as it is at hand and marked with GOST. Let's open the jar, see if there are any bones.

Put the meat with liquid and fat in a pan. (If there are no conditions, then the stew can be dumped directly into the pasta, leaving a little water in them to boil everything together later.) Do not forget to stir the pasta so that it does not stick to the bottom! Next, a pot, a stewpan or a frying pan with stew and liquid follow to the stove - the meat should be steamed.

After 3 minutes, add the onion there. It must boil in the liquid that we pour from the jar. If it is not enough, add water, as it was in my case.

Water is drained from pasta in a convenient way. They are laid out in a bowl with stew and onions.

In a hot frying pan, add a little vegetable oil, stew and onions. Saute for 10-12 minutes or until the onion is soft.


The resulting roast, along with all the liquid and juices, add to the finished pasta and mix thoroughly.

  • water 4 cups
  • chicken stew 1 can
  • salt, pepper to taste

How to cook pasta with stew in a slow cooker:

  1. Put the pasta and stew in the multicooker bowl. Fill with water, salt and pepper.
  2. Set the "Pilaf" mode, cooking time - 30 minutes. Close the lid and wait for the beep.

Feed method: Before serving, gently mix the finished pasta, sprinkle with chopped herbs, sprinkle with freshly ground pepper. You can sprinkle with grated parmesan.

How to cook pasta with stew: a step by step photo recipe

Pour water into a saucepan and set to bask, when the water boils steeply, salt it and throw in the pasta. Stir occasionally. Boil the pasta until it's half cooked (i.e. it should taste a bit harsh), the Italians call this "al dente". When the pasta reaches this very “al dente”, and this will happen after about 7 minutes, drain the boiling water and rinse them with cold water.

Now you can start cooking the gravy (or dressing, I don’t even know how to call it correctly). Wash and clean onions, carrots, tomatoes and garlic.

Finely chop the onion and carrot and send to the pan, after adding vegetable oil. Pass the vegetables over low heat, stirring occasionally. When the vegetables become a little golden, add the stew. Mix all the contents, cover with a lid and then leave to simmer for about 10 minutes.



Next, send to the pan 1 tbsp. a spoonful of tomato paste. Instead, you can add tomatoes, but it is recommended to chop them in a blender beforehand. Together with tomatoes, chop 1-2 cloves of garlic in a blender and pour this whole mixture into the dressing.



When all the contents of the pan boil, add the previously boiled pasta there. Mix all this beauty and leave on fire for another couple of minutes. Add some black pepper and salt (if needed) to the pasta with the stew. When the dish is ready, turn off the heat, sprinkle grated cheese, herbs on top and cover. After a minute, the cheese will melt and the pasta will be ready to serve.



Since the dish turns out to be quite high-calorie and fatty, it is advisable to serve it along with vegetables. For example, pasta with stew and tomato paste goes very well with cabbage salad (cabbage, carrots, salt, sugar, lemon juice).
