With the haircut everything worked out right away, but with the manicure I had to tinker with it! How many new things I learned about this procedure then! The biggest discovery for me was how long it took me. Neither more nor less - a whole 4 hours! And then I started thinking about how much time our beloved girls spend looking beautiful and how they manage to work, raise children, and us in between! Now I admire their ability to manage time, and I only spent time on a couple of procedures.

But we, men, can do something too! Well, for example, we can prepare dinner in just half an hour! And at the same time, everything will be tasty, appetizing and not even very high in calories!

Here, for example, is one of the options. We will make an Italian Bellini cocktail from dry sparkling wine and peach puree according to the recipe of my friend and chef Ezekiel Barbuto, prepare a hot appetizer of bell peppers, which will whet the appetite a little, and for the main course we will serve chicken liver with peaches and a green mixed salad , which usually drives women's taste buds crazy.

It is advisable to do all three recipes in parallel, but if you are not confident in your abilities, cook as convenient for you. And by the way, let this happen before her eyes. It will turn out: you will receive applause, somewhere something will not work out as planned - there will be something to laugh at!

So, men (and maybe ladies), let's get started! And let's start with a cocktail, so that your chosen one's appetite will work up a little, she will relax a little and stop rushing to the stove, because today the place there is already occupied!

Bellini cocktail

For a cocktail (about 4 glasses) you will need:

  • a bottle of Prosecco or other dry sparkling wine,
  • a jar of canned peaches with syrup,
  • strawberries for decoration (optional).

So, open the peaches, drain the syrup, and put a few halves in a blender cup.

Blend the peaches with a blender, adding syrup with a spoon until you get a thick puree.

Place 3-4 teaspoons of puree in a wine glass and carefully spoon the prosecco into the glass.

If you want to garnish your cocktail, cut a strawberry in half and garnish the glass!

Hand the cocktail to your loved one, take a couple of sips yourself and slowly move on to the pepper appetizer. The recipe is very simple and incredibly tasty. It is magical both hot and cold. While you are cooking, you can tell us that for this recipe it is best to take peppers grown in our strip. Their taste is more pronounced, their skin is thinner and, it seems to me, more tender.

Pepper appetizer.

To prepare you will need:

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Wash the peppers and once the oven is hot, place them in and bake until the skins on the peppers begin to “bubble.” It will take you 10-15 minutes.

Take it out, let it cool slightly and remove the skin with a knife. Do this carefully so that the pepper remains intact as much as possible, otherwise all the juice that has formed inside it will leak out, and this is the most delicious thing.

Place the pepper on a plate and peel the garlic. Place it on a board, crush it with a knife and cut it smaller.

Sprinkle garlic pepper on top, add a little salt and pour olive oil.

Serve it with a second glass of Bellini.

And take a break from the stove yourself and finish off all the pepper. which was prepared after satisfying the first hunger. But don’t get carried away with cocktails, the last dish for today awaits you.

Chicken liver with peaches and arugula.

You need the following ingredients:

  • 2 peaches or nectarines (but peach is better)
  • 350-400 grams of chicken liver,
  • a jar of apricot or peach jam or jam (we will need 2-3 tablespoons from it),
  • a package of ready-made salad mix according to your taste (for example, I like arugula and corn)
  • salt to taste,
  • balsamic vinegar to taste,
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil.

Clean the liver from the films and cut into equal, but fairly large pieces. The liver should look like the photo below.

Heat two frying pans, pour oil into one of them, and leave the other dry. In the one with oil, throw the liver and fry it for 5-7 minutes. It should become slightly elastic when you press it with your finger. Try cutting one piece. Inside, she should be “on the edge.” That is, there should be no blood, but clear “juice” should be released.

While the liver is cooking, cut the peaches into slices. Each peach can be cut into 6-8 pieces. Place the peaches in a dry frying pan and fry a little.

Meanwhile, remove the lettuce from the bag, wash it and leave it in a sieve or colander to drain excess water. Then take the jam and add 2-3 tablespoons to the liver. Add a little salt.

Stir the liver and simmer for another 2-3 minutes. While it is stewing, take out the salad and place it in a deep plate, pour a little oil and stir.

Place the salad in the center of the plate.

Remove the liver from the stove. Arrange it with the peaches.

Drizzle a little balsamic vinegar over the top.

Voila! Pour the girl a new portion of champagne, take off your apron, light the candles and enjoy the conversation. Have a good evening!

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 250 – 300 g;
  • Romaine lettuce leaves - 1 bunch;
  • Tomatoes – 1 pc.;
  • Loaf – 6 slices;
  • Garlic – 2 cloves;
  • Parmesan (other hard cheese) – 75 g.

For the sauce:

  • Egg – 1 pc.;
  • Mustard beans – ½ tsp;
  • Olive oil – 75 ml;
  • Wine vinegar – 1 tbsp;
  • Ground black pepper - to taste.

Preparation

  1. We wash the salad well, let it drain and dry on a towel. Tear into large pieces with your hands immediately in a bowl.
  2. Cut the loaf slices into 1cm x 1cm cubes and place them in a hot frying pan. Spray with olive oil and add halved garlic cloves for flavor.
  3. Fry the bread until golden, turning occasionally to brown all sides.
  4. Add some salt to the chicken fillet, sprinkle with basil and white pepper, and place in whole pieces on a hot frying pan. Fry over low heat, but do not keep for long so as not to dry it out.
  5. Let it cool and cut it into slices 3–4 mm thick.
  6. Let's start the sauce: beat the egg, mustard, oil and vinegar with a blender or mixer. Salt and pepper everything, mix again.
  7. Place the cooled chicken on top of the lettuce leaves and immediately pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and place Parmesan slices on top. We cut them with a cheese slicer or, in extreme cases, slice them very thinly with a knife - no need to grate them.

Serve immediately to prevent the bread from getting soggy. Our first salad for a romantic dinner is ready!

Variations on a theme...

There are many Caesar recipes, and you can vary any ingredients. For example, instead of homemade dressing, use ready-made Caesar dressing or use regular mustard instead of grain mustard.

And, of course, shrimp are considered a classic replacement - for this amount we will need 200 g of boiled peeled seafood.

But if you don’t want to choose, we’ll make Caesar with both chicken and shrimp! In this recipe, the fillet can be baked in foil - this will make it more juicy and tender. The main thing is that before baking, rub it with spices, raw ginger root and make several shallow transverse cuts so that the meat is well soaked.

It's also good to mix chicken breast and bacon. In a 3:1 ratio, cut them into wide strips and place them on the grill along with white bread cut into cubes. Spray everything with olive oil, sprinkle with spices and bake at 200°C until golden brown.

Egg sauce

A sauce made from slightly poached eggs is suitable for this option.

  • To do this, put 1 egg in boiling water for a couple of minutes and, after pouring it with cold water, separate the yolk.
  • In a bowl, beat it with 1 tbsp mustard, add 1.5 tsp. balsamic vinegar and 1 tsp. sugar (!).

Mix everything and gradually add 150 ml of olive oil, whisking continuously at low speed.

Pour the prepared sauce over the bacon and chicken. Arrange the crackers and cheese as usual.

Salad with cheese and tomatoes

In addition to Caesar, you can prepare a very light salad with cheese and tomatoes for a romantic dinner.

  • Take 80 g of blue cheese, if not, then 100 g of feta cheese or 6 - 7 mozzarella balls. Cut into small cubes 0.5 by 0.5 cm, since Dor Blue has a very intense taste. Feta can be cut larger.
  • Wash and cut a large tomato into slices.
  • Drain the liquid from 100 g of canned olives and let them dry in a separate bowl.
  • Then mix everything and season with 3 tbsp. olive oil mixed with salt and basil. Ready!

Cheese salad with pear

If you want to make a more interesting option with blue cheese, we suggest making a cheese salad with pear.

  • To do this, peel and cut 200 g of pear into slices (first cut into quarters, and then cut each crosswise to a thickness of 3 - 4 mm).
  • Cut 50 g of Dor Blue cheese into small cubes, chop 40 g of walnuts with a knife. We cut 3 – 4 lettuce leaves into strips and proceed to the sauce.
  • For it, mix 1 tsp. liquid or warmed honey, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, ½ tsp. lemon juice, a pinch of salt and a little black pepper.

Add all the ingredients to the sauce and mix well. It is better to serve the salad after 15 - 20 minutes, allowing it to brew.

Green salad with smoked meats

If time allows us to do some magic in the kitchen, we’ll make a very tasty green salad with smoked meat, omelet and mushrooms.

  • Cut the smoked meat (meat or chicken fillet) into thin strips and set aside.
  • In a frying pan, fry a beaten salted egg on both sides.
  • Wash 4 lettuce leaves, dry and cut into strips.
  • Mix all the ingredients, add 50 - 60 g of pickled mushrooms and start dressing.

Mix with 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 tsp. table vinegar and stir vigorously.

Season the salad with the mixture and mix gently again. Ready! Can be served immediately.

Salad “Tenderness”

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 300 g;
  • Egg – 2 pcs.;
  • Canned corn or beans – 150 g;
  • Pineapple (canned) – 150 g;
  • Fresh cucumbers – 2 pcs.;
  • Salt, pepper, mayonnaise - to taste.

Preparation

  1. Boil or bake the fillet as desired. Cool and cut into cubes or strips. Boil the eggs hard and chop with a fork. Cut the cucumbers into strips.
  2. We lay out the ingredients in layers, coating each with a small amount of mayonnaise for juiciness. First chicken, then pineapples and cucumbers.

If you don’t like store-bought mayonnaise, replace it with homemade mayonnaise or just make do with natural yogurt. You just need to season it with salt, spices and a little vinegar to enhance the taste. Before serving, add the egg layer and corn.

Salad with baked tomatoes

A salad with baked tomatoes would be a very unusual option. We choose cherry or regular tomatoes, but not less than 350 g.

Preparation

  1. Boil the eggs hard - keep on the fire for at least 10 minutes after boiling, drain and cool.

Boiled shrimp 150 g

Strawberry 50 g

Orange – 3-4 slices

Mango – ¼ fruit

A bit of celery

Pork – 250-300 g

Bell pepper – 1 pc.

Onions - 0.5 bulbs

Black pepper, red hot pepper, ground dry ginger - to taste

Vegetable oil for frying

Cut the pork into thin long pieces. Cut the onion and pepper into strips. Place the meat in a frying pan and fry in oil. A few minutes before cooking, add the onion. Once the onion becomes translucent, add the bell pepper. Salt and add the indicated spices. Simmer under the lid until fully cooked.

Recipe No. 5 Chicken chop “Tenderness”

Chicken fillet - 1 pc. (consists of two halves, 1 half per person)

Flour - 1 tbsp.

Egg – 1 pc.

Mayonnaise -1.5 tbsp.

Salt, ground black pepper - to taste

Vegetable oil for frying

Hard cheese 50-80 g

Parsley

Wash the fillet and divide into 2 parts. Beat it with a hammer on both sides. Prepare the batter: break an egg into a bowl, add chopped parsley, mayonnaise, flour, salt and pepper and mix everything well. Grate the cheese separately. Now heat a frying pan with oil. Dip the beaten fillets into the batter on one side. Place this side (the one in the batter) into the frying pan.

Place grated cheese on top (on the side where there is no batter). Cover with a lid and fry until golden brown. After this, pour the batter onto the melted cheese with a spoon, thus “covering” the chop. Now turn the chops over to the second side and fry until golden brown. Garnish the finished chops with parsley sprigs.

Recipe No. 6 Chicken in soy sauce with summer vegetables “Beijing”

Chicken (meat from any part) – 200-300 g

Soy sauce – 100 g

Cucumber – 80-100 g

Tomato – 80-100 g

Bell pepper -80-100 g

Honey – 20 g

Salt, ground black pepper - to taste

Parsley

Vegetable oil

Prepare chicken meat: wash, separate from bones and chop into pieces. Marinate the meat in soy sauce mixed with honey (preferably for 30-60 minutes). Fry the meat in oil. Cut the vegetables into strips and the tomato into slices. Add bell peppers and cucumbers to the meat. Fry until done. Pour the remaining marinade and spices over the dish and simmer for about 7 minutes until the liquid has evaporated. Then add the tomatoes and fry for a couple more minutes. Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped herbs.

Dry sparkling wine (1 bottle for 4 servings)

Canned peaches with syrup – 1 jar

For decoration - a couple of strawberries or a sprig of mint

Drain the syrup from the peaches into a separate cup, place a few peaches in a bowl and use a blender to blend them to a thick puree, adding syrup a teaspoon at a time. Take a deep glass, add 3-5 tsp. peach puree and pour in the wine in a thin stream (it’s better to place a teaspoon in the glass and pour the wine in a neat, thin stream right along its back side). As a decoration, you can cut the strawberry in half and decorate the glass with it. Or just add a mint leaf to your cocktail.

Recipe No. 8 Honey yogurt “Favorite”

Natural yogurt (any thick yogurt without flavorings or additives will do) – 400 g

Walnuts (or pine nuts) - 30-40 g

Ground ginger, cinnamon - to taste

Sprig of mint

Honey – 150 g

Prepare the sweet sauce: combine honey and ginger, mix thoroughly and whisk. Fry the nuts in a dry frying pan, chop finely. Place the yogurt in 2 bowls, 200 g each. Pour the sweet sauce over the yoghurt and sprinkle nuts and cinnamon on top. Garnish with mint leaves.

Recipe No. 9 Watermelon cake “Fantasy”

Ripe watermelon

Cream 30% (if the fat content is higher, it will be even better) - 600 ml

Vanillin (if you find a vanilla pod, it will be great) – to taste

Brown sugar – 80 g

Cut 2 cubes of adequate size from the watermelon, cut off the skin and place on two plates. This will be the basis of our mini cakes. Separately, chop the pieces of watermelon into small pieces or use a small spoon to give them the appearance of a sphere (there should be at least 20 such tiny lumps for 2 servings) for decoration.

For the cream, in a bowl, beat the cream, 50 g of brown sugar and vanilla (or vanilla bean seeds) with a mixer or blender for 5 minutes until a thick and smooth creamy consistency. Blot the prepared watermelon cubes with a paper napkin to absorb all excess liquid. Cover these cubes evenly with the resulting cream and level. Sprinkle the prepared watermelon lumps on top, garnish with mint leaves and sprinkle with brown sugar.

Recipe No. 10 The most delicate strawberry fresh soup with ginger “Baby”

Fresh strawberries – 1 kg

Fresh ginger – 100 g

Lemon – 1 pc.

Sugar – 4 tbsp.

Peel the ginger and grate it on a fine grater. Extract the juice from the ginger. Squeeze the lemon and add lemon juice to the grated ginger. Place washed strawberries in a tall glass, pour ginger and lemon juice over them. Add granulated sugar. Beat everything with a blender. Place the fresh soup into plates and garnish with mint leaves. Can be served with ice cubes, a few whole strawberries or sorbet.
