3 eggs; 330 g of sour cream and sugar; 2 full glasses of flour; 110 g of raisins and poppy seeds; 150 g nuts; one and a half bars of milk chocolate; on the tip of a knife of salt; soda and vinegar.

The cream recipe assumes the presence of the following products: 300 ml of milk; 90 g of granulated sugar; 2 eggs; 2 large spoons of flour; ¾ pack of butter. It is recommended to flavor the cream with vanilla sugar, you will need one sachet.

The recipe is as follows:

  1. Knead the dough by mixing eggs with sugar, salt and sour cream. Sift the flour and pour into the resulting mass in parts. Squeeze out the soda and pour into the mixture.
  2. Divide the dough into three parts and add filler to each. In the first - washed and dried raisins, in the second - crushed nuts, in the third - prepared poppy seeds.
  3. Preheat the oven, it should be 180-190 degrees, and send the first cake to bake.
  4. After 20 minutes, check the readiness of the raisin sponge cake with a toothpick and, if everything is fine, remove it from the oven.
  5. In the same way, bake two more biscuits, cool them on a wire rack.

In the meantime, start preparing the layer.

Cream recipe for a three-layer cake:

  1. Whisk the eggs with the sugar, then add the vanilla sugar to the mixture.
  2. Add flour and 50 ml cold milk.
  3. Stir the resulting mixture well and pour into the bowl where the rest of the warm milk is located.
  4. Put the mass on the fire and constantly stir with a whisk. The cream should not burn, otherwise its taste will deteriorate greatly.
  5. As soon as the mass boils and thickens, remove it from the heat and beat with soft butter.
  6. Assemble a three-layer cake. Layer each cake layer with cream, also coat the sides and top of the cake.
  7. Decorate the cake at your discretion, using chocolate chips, crushed nuts, biscuit crumbs (see photo).

three eggs; 170 g butter; one can of condensed milk (you need to take boiled or cook a can of condensed milk at home); 200 ml high fat cream; 300 g of fine crystalline sugar; 1.5 cups of sour cream; 1 ½ cups flour; half a glass of additives: raisins, nuts, poppy seeds.

Recipe:

  1. First, prepare the poppy, soak it in warm syrup and fry in a pan.
  2. Wash the raisins, pour boiling water over them and after 15 minutes lay them out to dry on a paper towel.
  3. Cut the nuts into small pieces or chop in a blender.

  5. The result should be a homogeneous mass, similar in consistency to thick sour cream, to which we add ground walnuts.
  6. The resulting dough is poured into a greased form and baked in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 20 minutes. We check the readiness of the cake by piercing it in the middle with a toothpick: if the toothpick remains dry, the cake is ready, if the dough sticks to it, bake a little more.

We remind you that we made the dough for one cake and the ingredients were taken based on one cake. For poppy and raisin cakes, we make the same dough, but instead of walnuts we add: in the first case, half a glass of poppy seeds, and in the second, half a glass of raisins.

If you like honey cakes, you can add about 1 tbsp. l. honey, and you get a honey cake "Lady's whim". Chocolate lovers can add 1 tbsp to the dough of each cake. l. cocoa, pour over the finished cake with chocolate and vegetable oil icing and get a chocolate "Lady's whim".

  2. Gradually add condensed milk to the butter and continue to beat until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Cake shaping

We level the baked cakes. You can do this with the help of a plate, putting it on the cake bottom up and cutting off the excess edges of the cake along its contour. We don’t throw out the remaining scraps anywhere and don’t eat them - we will need them to decorate the cake.

We put the first cake on the dish (it doesn’t matter which one: walnut, poppy or raisin, it all depends on your personal preferences), generously smearing it with cream. On top we put in turn the remaining cakes, also richly smeared with cream.

Spread the cream evenly over the entire surface of the cake, not forgetting the sides. Sprinkle the delicacy on top and on the sides with finely crumbled shavings left over from the cakes. The cake can also be decorated with nuts, chocolate chips, mastic or draw patterns on it with the same chocolate icing - there are no restrictions on this, as you like, decorate it.

How to make cake with poppy seeds, raisins and nuts

  1. First you need to prepare the dough for the cake. We will have 3 cakes with different fillings: with poppy seeds, raisins and nuts. If you have three molds of the same size, you can knead the whole dough at once, divide it into 3 equal parts. If there is only one mold, then it is better to cook the dough separately in three steps so that the baking powder does not “overshoot” while all the cakes are baked in turn. I have one form, with a diameter of 23 centimeters. So I cook the dough 3 times. To do this, I drive 1 egg into a bowl, add 0.5 tbsp. sugar and 0.5 tbsp. sour cream (glass = 200 g). I mix everything with a spoon.

  2. I add 0.5 tbsp. sifted flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder. I mix everything again with a spoon (there is no need to use a mixer, everything connects perfectly).

  3. Then I add 0.5 tbsp. poppy, mix. The dough for the first cake is ready. It is similar in texture to thick sour cream.

  4. Lubricate the form with vegetable oil and pour the dough into it. I send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

  5. Similarly, I cook the dough with nuts - instead of poppy seeds, I add chopped nuts in a blender.

  6. In the third batch I put raisins in the dough.

  7. The result will be 3 cakes - each about 3 centimeters high.

  8. While they are cooling, I prepare the cream: I mix sour cream and sugar, rub it with a spoon and put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes so that it thickens slightly. I coat the cakes with sour cream.

  9. Topped with chocolate icing. To prepare the glaze, I combine milk, sugar and cocoa in a saucepan, and then bring the mixture to a density, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add butter, mix thoroughly again. When the icing has cooled, cover the top and sides of the cake. If there is no time or desire to cook the icing, you can grease the top of the cake with the same sour cream that was used to impregnate the skin.
  10. It remains to decorate the cake and put it in the refrigerator to soak for 2-3 hours, and even better at night. For decoration, I chose nuts and coconut flakes. You can decorate however you like, such as sprinkled with cookie crumbs or poppy seeds.
