If there is no ready-made fillet, it can be quickly fried by cutting into plates or strips. Dressing is best made from homemade mayonnaise, in a lighter version, mix yogurt with lemon juice and grainy mustard.
In the recipe, the omelet is prepared traditionally - from beaten eggs with the addition of dairy products. But there is another solution - to make a protein omelet. This option will be very useful if you need to attach egg whites or the task is to reduce the calorie content of the salad (in this case, we fill it with yogurt, mayonnaise is excluded).

Ingredients:

- egg - 1 pc.;
- sour cream - 1 tbsp. or 2 tbsp. milk (for an omelette of two proteins 100 ml.);
- boiled or baked chicken fillet - 150-200 gr.;
- fresh cucumber - 1 pc.;
- cheese - 50 gr.;
- vegetable oil - 1 tsp;
- salt - to taste;
- lettuce purple onion - 1 pc.;

- vinegar or lemon juice - 1 tsp;

If there is no boiled or baked chicken meat, then cooking should begin with frying the fillet - cut it into thin strips, salt, season with pepper and fry in a small amount of oil until tender. Then cook according to the recipe. When there is ready-made meat, we first marinate the onion, and while it is soaked in marinade, we will prepare an omelet. Cut the onion into thin strips or half rings.




Sprinkle with salt and sugar, take two pinches each. Sprinkle with vinegar or lemon juice, mix, leave to marinate for ten minutes.




Let's make an omelet mixture of eggs, sour cream (or milk) with the addition of pepper and salt to taste. All components must be whipped with a whisk or fork into a homogeneous lush mixture.




Heat a little oil in a frying pan, pour in the omelet mixture and fry until cooked over low heat. The omelet is considered ready when the top becomes dense, without liquid areas. I want to draw your attention to this simple one.

I like that the dish itself is simple, but its taste is quite original. When I ask the family what they would like for dinner, the son invariably answers - an omelette salad. He likes this dish so much that sometimes it replaces his side dish and main course.
