Turkey meat is a low-calorie, low-allergenic and dietary product.

Ground turkey makes tender and tasty cutlets that the whole family will love. And if you steam them and simmer them in a creamy sauce, you simply won’t be able to tear yourself away from such deliciousness!

To cook turkey cutlets in a slow cooker you need:

  • Ground turkey – 600 grams;
  • White bread – 1-2 slices (without crust);
  • Milk – 50 grams;
  • Egg – 1 piece;
  • Carrots – 1 small;
  • Onion – 1 piece;
  • Potato – 1 small;
  • Salt, ground black pepper;
  • Flour or breadcrumbs.

For the gravy:

  • Homemade full-fat sour cream – 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • Water – 1 cup;
  • Salt, bay leaf.

Cooking step by step:

Separate the bread from the crust and fill it with milk.
Grate the carrots and potatoes on a fine grater, and cut the onion into cubes.
If you make minced meat yourself, it is better to pass the onions and potatoes through a meat grinder, along with the meat.
Mix minced meat, egg, grated carrots, potatoes, onions and softened bread.
Salt, add ground black pepper and mix.

Form cutlets and roll in flour.
Turn on the multicooker, pour in vegetable oil and lay out the cutlets.

There were a lot of cutlets, so I fried some of them below and placed the rest in a double boiler.
It’s very convenient, time-saving, and you get an assortment of fried and steamed cutlets for everyone.
Set the “Baking” mode for 25 minutes and close the lid.
After 10-15 minutes, remove the steamer, turn the cutlets over at the bottom and put everything back.

While the multicooker was preparing the cutlets, my youngest son and I managed to have breakfast and get ready to go outside.

After the signal, put all the cutlets into the multicooker bowl and pour in the sauce.
For the sauce, I had homemade sour cream, salt, bay leaf and some water.
Homemade sour cream is very good for baking, but if you don’t have it, you can replace it with cream.
We set the “Stew” program for 1 hour and go outside to work up an appetite;).

Soak any cereal flakes or just rolled oats in water, broth, milk, yogurt or a mixture of sour cream and milk. The flakes should soften and swell. While the oats are preparing, make the stuffing for the steamed turkey cutlets.


Fillet from almost any part of the turkey is suitable for minced meat: from the breast, from the thighs or, as in this recipe, from the drumsticks. It is enough to simply cut the breast meat into pieces that are convenient for loading into a meat grinder. Meat from thighs and especially drumsticks must be separated from skin, bones and cartilage.

Scroll the pieces of turkey meat into a meat grinder along with onions and, if desired, garlic. These vegetables will give the cutlets the necessary juiciness and improve the taste.


To prepare the cutlet mass, combine ground turkey with chopped onion and swollen flakes. Lightly salt the minced meat and add the selected spices (fresh chopped herbs, aromatic dry herbs, ground peppers and/or ready-made national spice mixtures).
Mix the ingredients well and thoroughly knead the minced meat into a homogeneous sticky mass.


Give the cutlet mass a round shape, flatten it and distribute it into equal portions with a knife or, simply, with the edge of your palm. First, mark out an even quantity, and if an odd number is required, then in the very center, grab a portion of minced meat in approximately the same quantity as for the “even” cutlets. The procedure is simple and guarantees that all cutlets will be the same size.

Form the patties into the desired shape: round, oval with a blunt end, or oval with a pointed end.


Place the turkey cutlets on a steaming surface. Steamers usually provide the ability to cook on several required levels at once.

Multicookers often have a basket that is installed on the top of the bowl. This is very convenient because at the same time you can prepare a side dish, for example potatoes, in a bowl under the basket.


There are also stands for steaming, which are placed directly on the bottom of the multicooker bowl. They are especially convenient in combination with the upper basket when you need to cook a large number of steamed cutlets.

Steaming time depends on the size of the cutlets and averages 20 minutes of intense boiling.

When serving, ready-made steamed turkey cutlets can be sprinkled with grated cheese, sesame seeds, fresh chopped herbs or sauce.

Step 1: Prepare the turkey fillet.

Wash the turkey fillet thoroughly under running warm water and place on a cutting board. Using a knife, we clean the meat from veins, films and cartilage. Now cut the component into small pieces and immediately transfer it to a medium bowl.

Step 2: prepare the parsley.


Wash the parsley well under running water, shake off excess liquid and place on a cutting board. Using a knife, finely chop the greens and pour them into an empty plate.

Step 3: prepare the onions.


Using a knife, peel the onion and then rinse it thoroughly under running warm water. Place the component on a cutting board and cut into four parts. Place the chopped onion into a clean saucer. Attention: If you wish, you can immediately finely chop the onion into cubes, but I prefer a blender, as it is quick and painless (usually the juice of the component gets into my eyes, which always makes me cry, and the electrical appliance takes the blow).

Step 4: prepare the minced meat for the cutlets.


Place pieces of turkey fillet into a blender bowl and then chop everything at high speed until the meat is minced. It usually takes me 1–2 minutes(depending on how big the pieces are).

Transfer the ground turkey from the container back to the bowl, and place the onion quarters in its place. Again, finely chop everything until it turns into shavings and then pour it into a common container.

Next, place the chopped parsley in a bowl and add salt. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed. That's it, the minced meat for the cutlets is ready!

Step 5: Prepare steamed turkey cutlets.


With clean hands, take a little minced meat from the total mass and form medium-sized oval cutlets. Important: To prevent the mixture from sticking to your fingers, be sure to wet them under running water every time. Immediately place the finished cutlets in the steamer bowl so that there is still a little space between them (during the cooking process they will slightly increase in size).

Turn on the electrical appliance and set the time 20 minutes. Close the container with a lid and prepare the cutlets. Attention: upon expiration 10 minutes Be sure to turn the dish over to the other side using a kitchen spatula. This way it will steam well and become more tender and juicy. At the end we turn off the steamer, but we are in no hurry to take out the cutlets. Just remove the lid and let it cool slightly.

Step 6: Serve the steamed turkey cutlets.


When the cutlets have cooled slightly, use a kitchen spatula to remove them from the steamer and transfer them to a special plate. But you can treat your friends and family with such a delicious dish along with all kinds of side dishes. For example, these are mashed potatoes, boiled rice, fresh vegetable salads, fried potatoes and much more. My kids, oddly enough, love to eat such cutlets along with green beans, which are always cooked in parallel with them at a level below in a double boiler. It turns out both tasty and very healthy!

If desired, you can pour soy sauce over the cutlets before serving. This makes the dish more piquant and less dietary;

To make cutlets, it is best to use fresh turkey fillet. But if it happened that you had meat in the freezer, that’s also okay. The main thing is to defrost it in advance by placing it in a medium bowl and completely filling it with warm water. Let it sit like that for a couple of hours. But under no circumstances should you speed up this process by using a microwave oven or running hot water from the tap.   • 500 g turkey meat;
  • 5 potatoes;
  • 2 eggs;
  • a slice of butter;
  • 2 onions;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking time: 75 min.

  1. Boil the potatoes for 10 minutes, cool and grate;
