  Pour apple cider vinegar (you can replace the table with 9%, take a little less). Leave for about ten minutes while we are preparing to fill with oil.







  Half of the small onion shred in half rings. Heat the oil in a pan. Spread the onion. On a gentle fire, fry the onion until it begins to change color. We add fire, fry for another half a minute, be sure to stir so that the onion does not start to burn.

How to cook Korean carrots with ready-made seasoning

The most basic ingredient in our recipe is carrot, so let's get it ready. If you use a special grater for grinding, it is most convenient to buy large root crops. Carrots should not be sluggish, sweetish in taste, in general, of high quality. Send the carrots to the sink. Take a washcloth and wash thoroughly from dirt. After, dry with a paper towel and peel. Cut into thin strips in a way convenient for you. Move to a deep container, as carrot straws will turn out quite a lot.

And proceed directly to the addition of spices. Pour granulated sugar.

Immediately pour a bag of ready-made seasoning. At this step, mix the contents of the bowl so that the sugar and spices are evenly distributed throughout the carrot mass. Lightly press the carrot straw with your hands so that it becomes softer and damp.

Now you need peeled cloves of garlic and hot pepper without seeds. You can do without these additions. Because the finished seasoning already contains dried garlic and red pepper. If you, like me, are used to doing everything with your own hands and don’t trust the dubious “eaters” in the food, make Korean carrots yourself at home - this is a real recipe without seasoning in bags, only with the addition of ground coriander, garlic and pepper. The result is a very delicious Korean carrot, as in the market. It is juicy, with a pleasant aroma of garlic, eaten quickly, so immediately cook a double or triple portion!

  • Coriander is best suited for grains; it is more flavorful than ground. You can grind grains in a mortar, coffee grinder or in a pepper mill.

To make the strips neat and long, you need to rub along the vegetable, from top to bottom. It is advisable to choose a large or medium-sized carrot, then the process will be faster.

Next, you need to fry the coriander grains so that they better reveal their wonderful aroma. I dried them in a dry frying pan for just 1 minute, stirring occasionally. And then it was poured into a mortar and rubbed with a pestle, the resulting powder seasoned with a carrot. Of course, you can use ground coriander, but the grains have a more saturated taste and aroma, so I recommend using them.

To flavor the butter, I heated it in a pan and fried 2 coarsely chopped onions. Cooked until the onion became a confident golden color.

I threw out the fried onions (it will not be needed) and filled the carrots with hot oil, mixed them. It remains to add hot red pepper and garlic, passed through the press - adjust the amount to your liking.

The finished snack should be infused for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator, the next day it will become even tastier.

You can simply cover with a plate on top or arrange carrots in clean jars, where it will be stored until the festive feast. The appetizer turns out spicy, moderately spicy, can be served separately, and also used as an ingredient for the preparation of salads and other dishes. Enjoy your meal!
